Cold hearted in this chilly open room
I admire your majesty and size
The imagery of hope and doom
Celebrating how He is born and dies
I don’t sit comfortably in these places
When infants up front sing “Silent Night”
Candles shining upon angelic faces
They all look such a cherubic sight
Cute, but nothing I haven’t heard before
Then distant heavenly voices get louder
Walking towards us the volume grows
She makes her fathers soul grow prouder
The love in my heathen heart over flows
